| Where are my blood tests processed, and will my data be shared overseas?

| All laboratory tests are processed locally in Malaysia through our trusted laboratory partner, Innoquest Laboratory. Patient samples and personal information are handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection requirements. Your medical data will not be shared with overseas laboratories or external parties outside Malaysia without your consent, unless required by law.

| Yes. A consultation with a medical doctor is included in all of our health screening packages. The doctor will review your results, explain any findings, and provide appropriate medical advice and recommendations.

| At Southern Health Centre, patient information and medical records are securely maintained within our digital healthcare system. Following your health screening review session, a summary of your consultation and key findings will be recorded in the Southern Health App for your reference.

| All health screening reports and related documents are uploaded to your personal app account, allowing you to conveniently access your records anytime and anywhere. The app also includes a dedicated section for vaccination records, enabling you to keep track of your immunisation history in one place.

| Is online consultation available once my health screening report is ready?

| Yes. We offer online result review consultations for added convenience. During the session, our doctor will connect with you via WhatsApp video call and review your results through screen sharing, providing a comprehensive explanation of the findings and personalised medical advice without the need for an in-person visit.

| Do I need to fast before my health screening, and can I drink water?
|
|
| For health screening packages, fasting for at least 8 hours is recommended prior to your blood test. During the fasting period, you are allowed to drink plain water to stay hydrated. However, please avoid all other beverages, including sweetened drinks, coffee, tea, and milk, as they may affect test results.

| Can I do a health screening if I am feeling unwell?

| If you are experiencing fever, flu-like symptoms, or acute illness, it is advisable to reschedule your appointment. Please contact our team for assistance.
